Art of Diplomacy: Winston Churchill Catalog
This catalog features some of Churchill's paintings. When not on tour, the exhibit is usually held in the Millennium Gate Museum in Atlanta, Ga.
An excerpt from the catalog:
During these difficult years, painting proved to be a critical source of calm and relaxation for Churchill. In the 1930s alone, Churchill painted approximately 300 of his over 500 canvases. It was painting, he said, that helped him cope with the stress of his political life and allowed him to be productive as he developed his thinking about the rising danger of Nazi Germany.
